We are looking for a UX Researcher to join our team.


Role summary


As a UX Researcher, you will be working closely with the Design team to translate customer research and insights into effective solutions for the business. The main focus is conducting customer research and analysing the results, to make business recommendations and inform the design of Kaplan UK’s digital presence, for both accuracy and conversion optimisation. Kaplan is committed to conducting customer research and analysing the results, to build better digital products, driving both improvements for conversion optimisation on our e-commerce sites and also enhancing the products we offer.


Within this role, it is important to display a passion for user-centric design thinking, the use of research/data in our decision making and ensuring the team is supported to perform their roles effectively.

What you’ll bring to the role


For this role, it is important to have strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, which are key to translating business and user needs into plans and objectives. You will need to build business relationships and collaborate with various teams across the business


  • Educated to degree/professional level

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • User-centric attitude connected to business goals

  • Proven track record of high-quality user-centric-led projects

  • High standard of research knowledge and skills

  • Firm knowledge of web standards, browser and device compatibility

  • Commercial awareness with a proven record of driving ROI

  • Experience in areas such as planning, prototyping, usability and accessibility

  • Experience with A/B testing and Google Analytics or a similar analytics package

  • Knowledge of Figma

  • Collaborate well with people across the business and ability to manage projects

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Creative thinker and problem solver
