We are looking for a Security & Compliance Coordinator to join our IT team.


The IT Security & Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of Kaplan Financial’s IT Security and Compliance function, contributing to essential areas such as Data Privacy, Incident Management, IT Compliance, and alignment with GDPR principles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in security and compliance, gaining hands-on experience while supporting the day-to-day execution of operational procedures. Working closely with subject matter experts, you will assist in managing data incidents, supporting Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and overseeing the lifecycle of IT contracts. As a central point of contact for the Security and Compliance team, you will coordinate workflows, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and help ensure the organisation meets its regulatory obligations and client commitments.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be currently working in a Business Operations role with a keen interest in IT compliance and who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Understanding of GDPR, Data Privacy and/or Information Security principles.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex contractual language.

  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and systems such as data governance, contract management systems and document tracking,

  • Experience managing incidents and responses to Information Security and Data Privacy issues

  • Team administration, organising and communication and capable of establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with colleagues and third parties

  • Exceptional listening, written, and oral communication skills required to clearly discuss and explain Data Privacy and Compliance policies to both technical and non-technical colleagues at all seniority levels.
