We are looking for a Freelance External Quality Assurer (EQA) - Accountancy and Finance

 

As an EQA, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality and integrity of our centre approval and monitoring processes. Your main

responsibilities will involve conducting external quality assurance activities, ensuring that our centres comply with our standards, and that the qualifications awarded reflect a reliable level of learner achievement. This is a remote role with a requirement to remotely conduct centre audits and occasionally visit centres where required. The successful candidate will report to the Qualifications Manager and the Operations Manager and will work closely with internal stakeholders and our network of centres to ensure the highest standards are met.

About You


  • Qualifications and Experience

    -Have a recognised qualification in accountancy and finance

    -Have, or are working towards, a formal assessor and/or quality assurance qualification

    -Substantial experience within the accountancy and finance sector, including a track record of delivering or assessing qualifications.

    -Previous experience as an External Quality Assurer or similar role, with a clear understanding of regulatory requirements.


  • Skills and Attributes

    -Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem-solving.

    -Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

    -Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the capacity to work autonomously and manage deadlines.

    -A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with sector developments.

    -Proficiency in IT systems and software, including virtual communication tools and assessment platforms.
