We are looking for an Equality and Quality Coordinator to join our team.
The SQE Quality Team is responsible for key areas of the SQE: mitigating circumstances claims; appeals; complaints; and improper conduct and malpractice investigations. The Equality Team is responsible for reasonable adjustment requests and reasonable adjustment plans for candidates sitting the SQE. You’ll play a key lead role in leading and managing the processes and applications that are the responsibility of the Quality Team. You will be trained to work with the Equality Team to process applications for reasonable adjustments and the processes to progress those applications to final reasonable adjustment plans with booked assessment seats.

What you’ll bring to the role
This is a role that will suit a candidate who has strong administrative experience and is looking to apply their skills and develop their experience in a high stakes global professional licensing assessment:
Excellent administrative skills, including organisational, time, and document management, and attention to detail (essential)
Excellent IT skills, including G-Suite (essential) , Microsoft Word, and Excel
Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal, including the ability to draft clear, succinct, and relevant correspondence (essential)
The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and efficiently (essential)
The ability to work effectively in a demanding environment and to tight deadlines (essential)
Skills and experience in collating and reporting data (essential)
Experience meeting key service level agreement targets (essential)
Experience working within a team, achieving success, and working efficiently and sensitively with all team members (essential)
Experience and the ability to work independently in a home-based role (essential)

In 2018, we were appointed as the independent assessment organisation for the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), which we then launched in 2021.
