We are looking for a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer to join our team.


As a Safeguarding Officer, you will be experienced in the implementation of effective Safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures within apprenticeships provision or similar. You will be liaising with learners, staff, employers and external organisations to safeguard all learners.

What you’ll bring to the role


This role is for someone who wants to make a difference to every learner and inspire them to succeed. You will be experienced in supporting learners and staff and delivering training to a wide demographic of learners.


  • You will have recent experience of working in a similar role

  • Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and guidance

  • Detailed knowledge of apprenticeship provision

  • Experience of effectively facilitating meetings and provided supporting information and data

  • Current knowledge of regulatory bodies such as the ESFA and Ofsted

  • Flexible approach and attitude to work, ability to travel within the UK (when required) and occasional overnight stay

  • Experience of handling large amounts of sensitive data and upholding the principles of confidentiality
