We are looking for a Applications Analyst to join our team.

Role summary This role is primarily responsible for supporting a large number of applications and public-facing websites, some of which are business critical, for Kaplan Professional Education. It is desirable that candidates have a strong understanding and experience in incident, problem, and change management.

The service desk is manned from 08:30 to 18:00 hours Monday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) and shift work may apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be currently working as a 2nd Line Service Desk, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Strong experience delivering end user support and high-quality service

• Strong experience working with Windows operating systems

• Strong experience troubleshooting application errors

• Demonstrate application of a logical and analytical approach to solving complex problems

• Knowledge and use of a wide variety of tools to help troubleshoot and diagnose problems

• Experience working in an ITIL service framework

• Experience maintaining and operating highly available systems and services

• Understanding of network and application security best practices

• Experience working with regulatory compliance PCI, SOX, ISO 27001 and GDPR

• Experience managing and successfully delivering small projects and initiatives
